Stretch Into Action

http://www.jobfit.net.au

The ‘Stretch Into Action’ program aims
at creating awareness of the importance of regular exercise and how if
can benefit us at work. Performing warming up exercises at regular (but
short) intervals throughout the working day will help minimise muscular
fatigue and tension, ultimately improving overall health and fitness as
well as reduce the potential for injury.
_
Warming up the body before we start work
(just like we do before exercising) increases blood flow and muscle
temperature. This in turn increases muscle and joint elasticity and
helps to relax tight muscles and joints.
_
Whether you work in an office, in a factory, or as a sales rep we customise a warm-up program to suit the needs of our audience

Manual Handling Risk Assessment Melbourne | Job Fit

http://www.jobfit.net.au/manual-handling-risk-assessments/
Assessing your workplace for potential hazards to your employees and others is an absolute minimal safety requirement under the OHS Act 2004. In Victoria, over 40% of all workplace injuries are caused by over stressing the body. Many of these injuries could have been avoided. Regular risk assessments should be a cornerstone for any risk management plan.
